Finnish summer dream - real treat for design lovers Positive: One of the most memorable places we’ve family of four ever spent a holiday. For anyone who appreciates great architecture, this place is a real treat— honestly, even Mies van der Rohe and Philip Johnson would feel right at home here. ;) What we loved most was how effortlessly it combines the charm of a traditional Finnish cottage with all the comforts you could wish for. The sauna experience alone is worth the trip: stepping straight from the hot sauna into the sea never gets old. The villa is beautifully designed, giving everyone enough privacy and space to completely switch off, while still bringing people together around the large table for long meals, board games, laughter, and conversations that somehow stretch late into the evening. One unexpected highlight was discovering that even a complete novice could catch a zander! And the surroundings are just as special—a morning jogg along the winding forest trails, snacking on wild strawberries, and breathing in the fresh scent of pine after the rain felt like something out of a Scandinavian summer dream. This wasn’t just a stay in a Finnish mökki; it was the Finnish summer experience at its very best. 10/10 — I would come back in a heartbeat.
